Founded in 1976, Panhandle Veterinary Services is a 4-doctor mixed animal practice in Chipley, Florida. If you’re looking for personal and high-quality service, this is the place! We have a beautiful 6700 sq ft hospital, complete with a modern large animal treating facility, including "suites" to hospitalize the big 'uns. Our small animal services include preventative medicine, digital radiography, ultrasound, and dentistry, as well as full boarding and grooming facilities. Dr Anderson is a diplomat of the American College of Theriogenology and offers many reproduction services. We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team of veterinarians. This position would be a great opportunity for a new graduate seeking mentorship in both large animal and small animal medicine, as well as an experienced veterinarian who enjoys teaching/mentoring. Benefits:
Welcome to Washington County, where you will find a quite, family oriented, All American way of life in the Florida panhandle. Founded in 1882, Chipley was named for railroad pioneer William Dudley Chipley. It grew up as many towns did along the railroad in the late 1800's, serving as a watering station for the steam-driven locomotives. Hundreds of lakes and clear streams, green forests and unspoiled land are home for a variety of wildlife. These peaceful surroundings offer abundant hunting and fishing grounds. Boating and waterskiing are favorite pastimes of many residents with Falling Waters State Recreation Area drawing participants in hiking, swimming, camping, photography and picnicking.
