Your role as a Lap of Love Veterinarian will involve many tasks including:
Providing in-home euthanasia services to patients across your region.
Offering medical advice and support to families for their geriatric and terminally ill pets.
Assisting families with quality of life decisions.
Visiting clinics to foster strong bonds with our referring practices and local community.
These tasks will require a few things from you in order to be able to complete them successfully:
This role will require you to lift weights up to 40lbs unassisted.
A valid driver's license and a well-organized vehicle (CUV or SUV) capable of safely transporting pets for aftercare is essential.
Working knowledge of technology including, smartphones, tablets/computers, GPS, etc.
Most importantly, you must have compassion and empathy for pets and the people that love them.
