Veterinarian

Parrett Veterinary Clinic is looking to add an additional associate to our high-volume, rapidly growing practice. We are a small animal practice located in Northern Indiana. Our clinic is an immaculately maintained 8,200 ft² facility built in 2001. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, two CO₂ surgical lasers, in-house lab suite, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, MedRX Video Otoscope, Midmark dental machine, and two Companion therapy lasers.

Responsibilities of the associate veterinarian will include inpatient and outpatient care for dogs and cats. The successful candidate should be equipped with excellent surgical and diagnostic skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The support staff at Parrett Veterinary Clinic is highly educated and well-trained. With a staff to doctor ratio of 7:1, the veterinarians at our practice can truly focus on providing excellent medical care. Teamwork is an essential component of our success, so strong communication skills are a must.

Starting salary for new graduates would be quite competitive, at $85,000/year (negotiable). Experienced veterinary candidates could expect a salary commensurate with experience level. Benefit package includes a 401k option with up to 4% match, vacation time, CE allowance, and much more. Mentorship from the practice owner and additional associate are available, based upon experience and comfort level of the applicant. Plymouth is a town of approximately 10,000 people, and offers many recreational opportunities including water sports and golfing. There are also excellent and varied athletic facilities nearby.
