Lakeside Animal Hospital is a privately owned animal hospital located in Richmond Virginia. We have 2 full time veterinarians and a large support staff. We are looking for several more full-time and /or part-time associates. Our hospital is fast growing and always busy. We welcome new graduates. Our clients are dedicated pet owners, and they seek the high-quality healthcare that we provide. We are a full-service clinic that treats dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and avian pets. Experience in exotic animal medicine is not required as we provide mentorship in all areas. We perform surgeries on all the species that we treat and would like to have associates that have surgery experience or a willingness to learn.

The schedule provides an outstanding work/life balance. We are open 7:30 am until 6 pm Monday through Friday and 7:30 am until 12 pm on Saturday. We are closed major holidays. Our facility is state of the art. We have the latest equipment including specialty surgical lights for exotics, ultrasound machine, digital radiographs, including dental. We use electronic charts and have laptops for doctors and assistants to use during the exam.
