Additional Surgery Days - We have a 6 doctor team that internally refers 90% of all surgical procedures IN HOUSE to two primary surgeons !! We've been bringing in mobile orthopedic surgeons but the right individual could just take up the procedures themselves. We can keep you busy with orthopedics, soft tissue, and dentistry as well as routine spay/neuter. We have a Ligasure, a plasma sterilizer, a C02 cutting laser, an Ellman electrosurgical unit, digital dental and full size radiology, top of the line ultrasound and endoscopy to complement your surgical procedures.

About Us: Our Rowlett location is both AAHA accredited for 25+ years and has a gold level cat friendly practice certification. We are fear free and provide only low stress handling. Every detail of our clinic, down to the temperature, smells and artwork were dictated by our low stress culture. When you enter our facility, you are greeted by two entrances - once for dogs and one for cats. The dog entrance takes you to a spacious lobby and retail area, 5 large exam rooms, a full pharmacy, lab, treatment and ICU area, surgical suite, comfort/acupuncture room, radiology room, dental suite, special procedures room (endoscopy and ultrasound) along with isolation suites, doctor station and breakroom. Our feline entrance takes you to a feline only lobby, kitty boarding with a 500 gallon aquarium, a cat only treatment room and two well appointed exam rooms for our feline friends. We also offer a full service grooming and boarding services.
Our Heath location is about 13 miles from Rowlett and boasts three exam rooms, a surgical suite, grooming facility and treatment area. We have a unique workflow in which each doctor has an exam room assistant trained to scribe their medical notes as the exam and client communications take place. This allows the client to leave with complete exam notes, captures all charges and ensures no time is spent at the end of the shift completing medical notes. We use DVMAX as our electronic medical records and also have several other comparable softwares for texting and emailing clients. What we are looking for!
Not only do you love dogs and cats, but also love surgery including orthopedics. You are focused on providing excellent client communication and are committed to delivering the best possible care to the animals of our community. You would be interested in pursuing local ultrasound training to become skilled at A-FAST and T-FAST ultrasounds (at minimum) and advanced training in surgical techniques you haven't mastered or want to perfect. You would enjoy working in a team environment and discussing difficult cases. You would build relationships with your clients and provide an experience that keeps them coming back to you. You would work well alongside our team to help coach and grow their skills. You would be organized and customer centric, understanding the importance of timely call backs and follow up to build your clientele. You would genuinely like both people and pets.
