About our Clinic: Uptown Animal Hospital is a full-service, small-animal general practice. Our hospital is well-established in the community and has been serving Cook County since the 1960s. We are also lucky to be in an affluent neighborhood, so most of our clients are well-educated, able to do full workups and follow recommendations. 

Medical Equipment: Our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, and surgery and dental suites. If there is an area of veterinary medicine you are interested in, our team would gladly welcome any new services or equipment and would encourage any continuing education.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Illinois Veterinary License – active and in good standing
• At least two years of experience as well as experience with surgery and dentistry 
• Ability to lead and assist with managing staff
• High clinical standards - Committed to compassionate and exceptional veterinary care

• Exceptional communication skills
