Our AAHA-accredited hospital in great location in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago is looking for a 6th doctor to join our team
Burnham Park Animal Hospital is a 5-doctor, AAHA-accredited practice, offering state-of-the-art medical care and we are looking to hire an additional Associate Veterinarian due to growth. Our site is currently going through a re-model and will be brighter and better than ever with even more space! Not to mention, we are just blocks from Grant Park and a short Uber ride to Chicago's fine dining and shopping.
Our ideal new team member is someone who is passionate about their work, is very interested in dentistry and surgery, communicates well, and has a strong desire to work in a hospital practicing progressive medicine. We feel we are the leaders in providing the latest and most compassionate care for the patients we see in the area; we have the capacity to support and mentor a new graduate, and welcome experienced Veterinarians as well.

In 1994, Burnham Park Animal Hospital was established as the first hospital to serve the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago. We also draw from the Bridgeport, Bronzeville, Hyde Park, West Loop and River East neighborhoods and have been AAHA-accredited since 1995.

About the Area
The South Loop is a growing community of mixed generations with many young professionals and families producing lots of foot traffic. There is easy access to public transportation. Our hospital is just 10 blocks from the center of downtown Chicago, its great restaurants, shopping districts, theater district, museums and much more. Located near Printer’s Row, the neighborhood is thriving again and continues to expand southward. It was just announced that the State of Illinois, the University of Illinois, and Northwestern University plan to develop a new technology hub of mixed residential, business and entertainment features just two blocks away. The University of Illinois plans to have a campus there. It is deemed to be “the City’s 78th neighborhood”. Grant Park and its many fests, 5K’s, marathons and Lollapalooza is just two blocks east, and just 2 more blocks east is Lake Michigan. We feel the South Loop is much more neighborly due to buildings having parking areas for their residents, many have outdoor patios, and several have dog runs included in their complexes.
