Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team. As a veterinarian at EVC, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of small animals, make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners, and be an integral part of a thriving practice while aiding in our efforts to advance current standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations on animals.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions and diseases.
• Perform surgical procedures with precision and care (if desired). 
• Educate pet owners on preventive healthcare and treatment options.
• Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine.

Qualifications:

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• State licensure and willingness to obtain any required local licenses.
• Strong internal medicine knowledge. Surgical skills/experience not required. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle a fast-paced environment.

About Eaton Veterinary Clinic

We are a rural small animal practice under new ownership as of April 2021. Just north of Muncie, IN. Short drive to Indianapolis or Ft Wayne for larger city entertainment. Currently in the process of clinic growth and modernization: newly updated digital radiography, new cloud-based client software to improve efficiency, TPLO and fracture repair equipment. No after-hours emergency care requirements unless DVM applicants would like to take after hours calls for additional compensation.
