Who We’re Looking For: TLC Pet Hospital is looking to hire an associate who is looking for a long-term full-time or part-time position in a great working environment. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us, is willing to learn, and share their knowledge in a fast-paced team environment. We want someone who wants to have fun at work, and expand their medical and surgical skills. We are happy to consider both seasoned vets as well as new grads. Our team of doctors have a great camaraderie, and are always happy to provide mentorship and lend a helping hand. New grads can expect to have direct mentorship and guidance as they navigate their careers after graduation. We are ready to invest in you, if you’re ready to invest in us!

• DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school
• NM state veterinary license (or eligible)
• DEA license (or eligible)
• NM state controlled substance license (or eligible)

About TLC Pet Hospital

About TLC Pet Hospital: We are a very busy privately owned small animal general practice in the heart of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are a 6 doctor practice with 18 support staff members, most of whom are cross trained in general patient care, dentistry, surgery, and reception. While we may not be a Fear Free Certified Practice, every staff member is a Fear Free Professional. Our hospital boasts separate canine and feline entrances and lobbies, as well as separated exam rooms for our canine and feline patients. We have 6 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, and 2 dental tables; we also have separate canine and feline treatment rooms, with their own isolation suites. We practice general medicine and surgery - including preventative medicine, acute sickness and injury care, geriatric care, routine surgery and dentistry, and a variety of more complex soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Our clinic is well equipped with digital x-ray; digital dental x-ray; ultrasound; a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical equipment; tonometry; in-house laboratory equipment (microscope, Idexx CBC, full chemistry, urinalysis, and snap tests); K-laser; and a full pharmacy.
